Gerald the spider sat on a toadstool
Wondering what he should do,
The weather was fine so a web he did spin
And it grew, and it grew, and it grew.
Then along came a tiger, soon tangled and snared
In the work that the spider had done,
And Gerald said, “Well, it’s true I like tigers
But I never could eat a whole one!”

9. Gerald The Spider
(Heikkilä - McGowan) I like this. I love the poem and i really hope the melody would fit into it. -- Jore

The banjo is certainly the right instrument for this slice of nonsense from my pen - and it's short enough not to cause offence. -- Davy
